Look and See!

Merry! Jolly! Happy! Whatever there is to celebrate, the key is to be ‘present’. Our children want and need us more than they need or want stuff. Here is a new song based on an old carol that will give you a present – a short reminder to sit down and play with your child. Whether it is a drum or the box that toy came in, it is your presence that will make this celebration memorable for both you and your child.

Look and See!
E. K. Schwartz 2017

1, 2, 3. Look and see!
1, 2, 3. Look at me.
1, 2, 3. Look and see!
We can play together. We can play together.

Come and play with me.
Come and play with me.
Come with me and you’ll see, we can play together.

Will You Help Me Cook?

For almost every holiday, we have special foods connected with that holiday.  When we have traditions in our family connected with food, it is really important to bring young children into the kitchen early to learn about those traditions. Give them a small chore, and help them to learn about their family and their culture with the new song about food. Mmm, Mmm, Mmm!

Will You Help Me Cook?

E.K. Schwartz 2015

Pumpkin pie; put it in the oven.

Baked potatoes;  I’ll eat ‘em by the dozen.

Cook me up some carrots and peas,

A little bit of turkey and some gravy, please.

Will you help me cook? Yes! Yes!

Come and take a look. Yes! Yes!

In the recipe book. Yes! Yes!

So cook me up some carrots and peas,

A little bit of turkey and some gravy, please.

Enjoy the music!

Beth
